This Shahsavan Mafrash, Circa 1880 ,was used to carry household items from one location to another over the seasons. This is an antique piece with vibrant colours very well preserved over the years. Shahsavan are the most desirable for collectors of tribal weaving in the world. The Kilim at the centre was originally the bottom of the bag. This piece is intact with its complex border and the flat weave at the middle.
