Collection: Tribal Rugs & Weavings
These handmade weavings were created by nomadic or semi-nomadic tribes. Some pieces were made especially to carry goods on the horses, some to be worn as belts, other pieces were made to place them directly on the horses, others to serve food, others to be used as blankets. Each of them crafted by the skilled hands of travellers that considered them as their most precious possession. The designs were inspired by the surroundings and stories, featuring motifs and patterns that have a symbolic meaning.
