A fine Persian rug from Mahallat in Iran. It has a floral medallion and a light blue field with flowers, leaves, and birds. The border has geometric and floral patterns with waves. The carpet is made of hand-spun wool and natural dyes. The wool is soft and durable, and the pile is high and uniform.
