Heriz -Karaja rug in light Coral

This Antique Heriz-Karaja rug  from Heriz, Northwestern Iran, is a remarkable piece of art crafted by Azerbaijan Turkish inhabitants. Hand-woven in the Bagschaich region, these rugs are known for their soft earth-tone colours and geometric patterns. They are durable and hard-wearing, often lasting for generations. Heriz rug weavers create geometric, bold patterns with a large medallion dominating the field.
