Fire Torba

This Torba by the Ersari tribes in the Middle Amu Darya region of Turkmenistan (circa 1870-1880),  features a stylized rare flaming medallion surrounded by intricate geometric patterns on a rich, deep red field achieved by natural dyes. In excellent condition, with an intact pile and colours that have retained their brilliance in time.
